Philip Rivers was apparently rooting hard for New England Sunday

According to Michael Gehlken, a writer from the San Diego Union-Tribune, Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers was a New England Patriots fan for the better part of his Sunday morning and early afternoon.

Philip Rivers said he was rooting hard for Patriots to win Sunday. "Certainly, one of the few times I ever have." Lost to Miami.
