Stephen Gostkowski is your AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for October

Stephen Gostkowski has rebounded from a shaky preseason to be one of the best kickers in the entire league this season. He's been rewarded for his efforts with the AFC's Special Teams Player of the Month for October.

The award is well deserved for Gostkowski, who has made 15 straight field goals, including a perfect 9-9 during the month of October. He's 20-21 for the season, with a pair of 50+ yarders.

Gostkowski's strong leg has made him a weapon on kickoffs as well, as 34 of his 44 kickoffs have resulted in touchbacks this season.
