Patriots vs. Jets Inactives

Pats Fans he is back! The one, the only Rob Gronkowski is active vs. the New York Jets. Look out NFL , the best tight end in football is back.

 The Patriots inactives also include CB Aqib Talib, WR Josh Boyce, G Chris Barker, WR Danny Amendola, RB Leon Washington , DT Tommy Kelly, S Tavon Wilson. 

Three major injuries to keep an eye on are Amendola, Kelly and Talib. 

Talib suffered a Hip flexor injury which is said to be minor, look for him to be back next week vs. the Dolphins. 

Tommy Kelly has been out 2 straight weeks now and there is cause for concern. Kelly is the best defensive tackle on the team. The Patriots run defense hasn't been terrible but mediocre. It will be once again up to rookie Joe Vellano and Chris Jones to hold the line. 

With Amendola it's tough to say. I would expect not to see him for a month at least. 

The good news is that Dan Connolly who was said to have suffered a head injury is active and hopefully will play in a starting role. 

The Jets inactives include: QB Brady Quinn, WR Santonio Holmes, WR Greg Salas, LB Troy Davis, G William Campbell, T Ben Ijilana, T Oday Aboushi.
