Barring miracle, Aqib Talib not expected to play
We've heard rumors that Talib had a hip flexor injury, but nothing more than that.
Talib didn't practice today, and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't practice all week. The Pats will likely have to go without him this week. Already missing most of their best players on both offense and defense, that's nothing to be laughed at.
The last time Aqib Talib faced the Jets, he picked off Geno Smith twice in the fourth quarter. Without Talib, Alfonzo Dennard and Kyle Arrington slide into more significant roles. Also look for Devin McCourty to play some corner if things get hairy.
