Austin Collie active for the first time, Stevan Ridley also active
Good news Patriots fans!
The semi-veteran wide receiver the team brought in to help their struggling corps will be active after just being added to the team last week. Austin Collie, formerly of the Colts and 49ers, has struggled with injuries since coming into the league in 2009. He's had multiple concussions and another one will likely be career ending.
Stevan Ridley is also active and should see a good amount of work against the New Orleans Saints. If the Patriots are going to solve their problems on offense, it all begins with the run game.

After missing last week's game with a knee injury, Stevan Ridley is active for today's game against the New Orleans Saints. With Ridley out last week, the New England offense's ground game stalled and it attempted just six runs in the second half.
Wide receiver Austin Collie, signed last week, is also active and should make his debut for the Patriots this week. With him active, rookie Josh Boyce will not dress today.
