Andre Carter to sign with the New England Patriots, welcome back


Defensive end Andre Carter played with the Patriots during the 2011 season and had a phenomenal year. He had 10 sacks despite missing the last two games of the season after suffering a season ending hip injury.

After spending last year witht he Raiders, and working out with the Patriots earlier this year, it appears Carter is finally back!



This will give the Patriots a much needed boost on the defensive line, as well as bring in a veteran mentor for Chandler Jones. Carter was always a stand up guy during his time here and I can't think of someone better to bring in for the stretch run of the season. Hopefully Carter still has plenty in the tank.
