Ahmad Bradshaw using Patriots as his backup plan
The running back that played for the Giants both times they beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl might have his eye on signing in New England.
The Patriots seem to be pretty set at running back, with LeGarrette Blount, Shane Vereen, Stevan Ridley and Brandon Bolden all already on the roster. In addition, who knows how the team will use Tim Tebow but he certainly has some skills running the football.
Bradshaw has been working with the Colts on a deal, but if things don't work out he will apparently visit with the Patriots.

As the Colts continue to negotiate with running back Ahmad Bradshaw, the former Giants running back has a fallback plan.
If it doesn’t work out in Indy, a source with knowledge of the situation says he’ll possibly take a visit to the Patriots.
Bradshaw has struggled with injury issues, mainly with his feet, and that's the reason why the talented running back is still available. A visit with the Patriots would probably be mostly for leverage, I don't see any sense in signing Bradshaw.
