Patriots trade out of first round, receive massive haul
So, as we all expected, the Patriots decided to trade out of the first round. The draft fell exactly as the Patriots would want it to, as barely any corners or receivers were taken ahead of them. The Vikings made two picks already, and are said to be heavily interested in Manti Te'o. This is likely the reason that they have traded with the Patriots. (Update: They picked Cordarrelle Patterson)
Patriots have traded the 29th pick to the Vikings.

The Vikings paid a STEEP price as they've sent the 52 (2nd), 83 (3rd), 102(4th) and 229th(7th). That's basically the rest of their draft sent to the Patriots in order to move up. The Patriots came in with only five picks, but now are pretty loaded. A rare type of trade indeed.
