Someone close to Tom Brady "enraged" that Patriots wouldn't bring back Welker
Tom Brady's favorite receiver just got the hand from the Patriots, and signed with the Denver Broncos and Peyton Manning instead.

If I'm Tom Brady I would feel enraged about this too. You give a team friendly deal, give the team plenty of cap space, and then the team offers peanuts for your favorite receiver?
Welker signed for 2 years $12 million with the Denver Broncos. The Patriots best offer was 2 years $10 million. They couldn't match the Broncos' offer? Really? Some didn't want to have to pay Welker big money, that's not big money. That's a bargain. Why would they not do that deal? Who knows.

Spoke to someone close to Tom Brady. Beyond enraged at contract details that netted Broncos Wes Welker. "Disgrace""disservice" were used.
