CB Antoine Winfield released from Vikings


Yet another veteran defensive back that will be thrown into a large pool of free agents. According to ESPN's Adam Shefter, CB Antoine Winfield has just been released by the Minnesota Vikings.

At age 35, Winfield may struggle to find many options. Although the three-time Pro Bowler has been solid since his arrival with the Vikings in 2004, his age will play a major factor. This is especially true this season where the DB free agent pool is loaded with young talent and other options.
