Ron Brace has a new home, in Washington
A disappointment from the 2009 draft out of Boston College, Ron Brace has found a new home in the NFL.
Brace was a second round pick by the Patriots in that draft and ended up appearing in only about 59.4% of the games in his four NFL seasons since then. The defensive lineman has yet to record a sack and only has 38 tackles to his name. Of course, stats don't mean everything when it comes to D-lineman but there's no questioning Brace was a disappointment.
The Patriots waived Brace back on December 29th, after trying him at multiple positions and finding that nothing seemed to work. It's a shame since Brace went to Boston College and grew up in Massachusetts.
The Patriots will look to fill Brace's spot this offseason as the defensive tackle is a key area of need.
