The Patriots could be shutting down the Summer of Gronk
Other than just get caught on camera phones partying and flipping dudes over, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski hasn't done anything too wild this off-season so far. Last year, you might remember, he was all over the place. From appearing naked on ESPN's body mag to being on dating reality shows.
Anyway, Gronk's off-season activities have many Patriots fans concerned about it effecting his play. For whatever reason, maybe the Patriots agree.
Word in Indy is Gronk won't be doing red carpet at Oscars for NFLN. Not sure if true but wonder if Pats got involved #notreallywondering

Lol RT @hannable84: Rob Gronkowski was scheduled to speak at UConn this Thursday, but that has been canceled

So that's two Gronk public appearances canceled. There could be a multitude of reasons for this. Are the Patriots behind it?
Probably.
The "Patriot Way" has taken plenty of hits over the past couple years, but the team obviously still doesn't like their players being in any sort of negative lime light. Not like Gronk has necessarily done anything wrong, but if all of his off-field activities become a distraction, that could become a problem.
