Ravens are confident with rookie kicker Justin Tucker
There's no doubt that the Baltimore Ravens have plenty of faith in their rookie kicker Justin Tucker. Since replacing Billy Cundiff after he was run out of town, Tucker has converted on 30 of his 33 field goal attempts in addition to his 42 extra points.
Last week against the Denver Broncos, Tucker kicked the game winning 47-yard field goal in double-overtime. Tucker's teammates have shown some pretty bold confidence in him, despite him being a rookie. The Baltimore Sun published an article on the matter. Here's what Pro Bowl DT Haloti Ngata had to say about the team's new kicker:

Tucker's teammates have shown some pretty bold confidence in him, despite him being a rookie. The Baltimore Sun published an article on the matter. Here's what Pro Bowl DT Haloti Ngata had to say about the team's new kicker:
"This year, I’ve never been nervous about Justin Tucker kicking a field goal," Ngata said. "I kind of just sat back and then waited. It got kind of close. I got a little nervous, but then when it went through, I just kind of jumped up and got excited. Justin Tucker is a great kicker, and he’ll probably be here for a while.”The confidence that Tucker's teammates have in him is derived from the confidence he has in himself. Tucker has made it clear that upon seizing the opportunity that he was presented with, he's also making sure he enjoys the ride. Here's the quote from the Baltimore Sun article:
“I always feel good about going out on the field,” Tucker said. “Not a lot of people get to do this. This is a heck of a lot of fun. More than anything, I try to cherish every opportunity I get, and more than anything, trust our routine."With a game-winning field goal in his very first postseason game, Justin Tucker should feel pretty good. It's also understandable that his teammates and coaches feel the same way. Against the Patriots back in Week 3 of the regular season, Tucker kicked the controversial game-winning 27 yarder. We'll see how he fairs this time around against the Pats at Foxboro.
