Kraft Waits Outside Texans Bus After the Game
According to Patriots beat writer Shalise M. Young Owner of the Patriots Robert Kraft waited near the Houston Texans bus for 10 minutes just to shake Arian Foster’s hand. This is more than likely just an act of respect for what Arian Foster does on the football field, but some have speculated that it’s more than that.
Robert Kraft is the kind of owner that builds relationships with players and this could be taken as a sign of him getting familiar with a future prospect of the team, but the numbers don’t add up. Gauging Foster’s contract situation he wouldn’t be available except by trade because he is locked up until 2017 on his current deal at which time he’ll be 31 years of age. With Ridley producing great numbers this year and the current contract situation it was probably nothing more than a simple sign of respect.
