Gil and Gino: The Voices of the Patriots Forever
I just want to thank Gil Santos really quick for 36 great years of commentating on the Patriots games. I remember working at CVS on Fall Sundays and taking my break and going to the car to listen to Gil and Gino call the game. No one did it like them and they deserve great respect. No one will ever take your places as the voices of the Patriots team for all those years.
Often times I would mute my TV and turn the radio on to listen to them call the game instead of the national guys because they were flat out better. As a lifetime Patriot fan I want to say on behalf of me and all the writers on nepatriotslife.com we will miss you. Enjoy your retirement and know you two were the best play-by-play duo in the National Football League. Thank you Gil and Gino.
