Rob Gronkowski will have surgery today, no timetable for return
Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski will undergo surgery on his broken forearm. The injury is not expected to be a season ender.

The word yesterday was 4-6 weeks. I'd expect that Gronk might not play until the playoffs. At least, I hope the team doesn't rush him back like they did Hernandez. At best he might be able to come back for the second to last game of the season, but in year's past those games have been meaningless for the Patriots. Don't see a reason in throwing him out there.
It's also looking unlikely that the Patriots will be able to get a first round bye, so the longer Gronk sits, the better in my opinion.
