Brandon Spikes wishes it wasn't the bye, wants to play
"Honestly, this is the best I've ever felt in my life. I feel like I'm 18," Spikes said. "I can go play this week, or next week. I feel great, man."
This is awesome to hear because the only knock on Spikes has been that the guy could not stay healthy.
He has so far this year and it's shown up. He's become one of the playmakers on this defense that we've always hoped he could be as he's forced three fumbles on the year. He's also starting to earn himself a bit of a reputation as someone you do not want to get hit by.
There haven't been a ton of great moments for the defense, but a lot of them have had to do with Spikes.
