Jabar Gaffney signs with Miami Dolphins



I know many Patriots fans really wanted Gaffney to come back. Hell, some even wanted him over Deion Branch.

The one glaring fact remains though, Gaffney worked out with two teams since being released - the Dolphins and Raiders. He was still available for this long. The Dolphins are only signing him because of an injury to Nananee.

The injury he sustained in training camp was either severe enough to keep him out this long, or he just wasn't impressive in those workouts, because both of those teams are desperate for Wide Receivers.

We'll see how much Gaffney can contribute with the Dolphins, and that will be the true test as for whether or not the Patriots made a mistake in letting him go.
