Pats release Addai
According to Mike Reiss of ESPNBoston.com, the Patriots have released Joseph Addai.
Addai signed with the Patriots as a free agent in May after six seasons with the Colts. It is now up to Danny Woodhead, Shane Vereen and Stevan Ridley to man the backfield.
Look for Brandon Bolden, an undrafted free agent signee out of Ole Miss, to make the roster and have a chance to become the next BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
