The original "12th Man"
Every NFL team likes to call its fans the "12th Man." The Seattle Seahawks even have a flag that says "12" in honor of their fans. But the New England Patriots may be one of the only NFL franchises to have one of its fans directly help them win a game.
The original "12th Man" helped the Boston Patriots of the AFL defeat the Dallas Texans (now the Kansas City Chiefs) in a 1961 home game at Boston University's Nickerson Field. The video is below:
